I've held a position in public service since 2008, my freshman year of college, when I became a U.S. Postal Service employee. It has been a while since 2008 ;). Since then, I have created quite the story, portfolio, and a new human.

I have been on a hiatus. In September, I was given the gift of time. Time to do whatever 'I decided' 'I needed' to do to get settled for my next chapter. I put the time to good use. I still am.

I spend my time organizing and creating, learning more about publicly funded government programs, and getting comfortable in my home. I am acutely focused on being 'mom' and a good partner. I continue to give time in service to my community. My love for public service will never dissipate. However, taking breaks from the 9 to 5 of it all is important.

It has been quite the privilege to have this time. I am thankful for it. I am excited to see what happens next.
