I am a dad.
I am a teacher. 
I am a raft guide.
A people person.

I am an elder millennial.
I was born and raised in East Tennessee.
I have a BA in French Literature with a minor in entrepreneurship. 
I have traveled and worked extensively in Europe and South Korea.

I am an experienced claim manager.
I have years of experience working on ambulances and for Emergency Departments.
I am a lifelong learner, have a calming presence, and no time for apathetic or insouciant work product.
I love teaching CPR and first aid classes, officiating the sports I played in school, and a good ol’ fashioned project. 

I don’t rattle easily.
I worked on ambulances for an epoch.
I manage short-term and Social Security Disability Claims for continued epoch.
I am a hardworking, enthusiastic learner. My work is mine. I don’t make excuses for it.

I love to teach what I know.
I teach CPR, AED and First Aid.
I teach water safety and rescue techniques.
I officiate lacrosse and wrestling.

I aspire to…
One day teach Yoga,
run a successful farm,
and a powerful force for good in the greater community of humans and nature.

David is a small business owner who loves fishin’ with friends, enjoys homesteading and does not, nor has he ever, owned a paisley shirt. Personality requires no accoutrements. His high school teachers called him a Renaissance man, and whether that trait has value in modern society is for someone else to parse out.
